Project: Emergency Generator Deployment – Estia Health Dalmeny
Project Partners: Level Electrical Hume, Kennards Hire, NSW Police
Location: Dalmeny, New South Wales
Date: 1 January 2020
scope of works
On New Year’s Day 2020, during the devastating NSW bushfires, Revma Electrical was urgently engaged by Estia Health to restore power to their aged care facility in Dalmeny after the area was cut off and left without electricity. With no clear access due to widespread road closures, our team coordinated the rapid deployment of a generator and fuel from Hume, ACT. Working in close collaboration with NSW Police, we arranged a police escort through restricted sections of the Princes Highway to reach the site safely. Upon arrival, our technicians installed, connected, and commissioned the generator — successfully restoring power to the facility and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents during one of the most challenging emergency situations in recent history.
